Rituals for Lunch is a midday offering of sculpture, sound and movement with (((( ONG )))) – a collective of interdisciplinary artists – who play with large suspended metal sculptures, exploring new and ancient rituals through choreographed scores for performance. (((( ONG )))) are open to you, the audience, listening and watching; to surfaces and circuits - of metal, skin, grass, wind, concrete, sky; to synchronous vibrations of bodies, space and objects, meeting in past, present and future time. All are welcome to watch, listen, and when forces align, to join in encounters of movement and sound.

(((( ONG )))) are in-residence at the MPavillion Parkville 29 April - 2 May.

Artists and sound makers Bruce Mowson and Mick Douglas with movement-artists and performers Janette Hoe and Amaara Raheem have been exploring improvised collaboration for 1-year. Together they build ritual immersions through resonant sound and embodied playfulness with/in site-specific sound sculptures developed by Bruce Mowson.
